The Opportunity:

Orbital Net is seeking a dedicated and experienced Acquisition BDM to focus on the growth of our successful B2B market. The BDM will work to drive our strategy for growth, expand our reach within the markets, and ensure our clients receive innovative, resilient, and viable telecommunications services.

Within the role you will:

  • Work towards achieving personal revenue targets.
  • Responsible for South territory (with opportunity to expand nationally).
  • Taking ownership for mapping out prospects and attending all new business meetings.
  • Winning, building and maintaining strong, relationships with new customers.
  • Proposal development, creating comprehensive and compelling proposal.
  • Work full time out of Bekesbourne office, near Canterbury.
  • Collaborating with Marketing on all campaigns, delivering successful outreach and follow up. Ensuring all in and outbound created leads are followed up with urgency.
  • Commercial account development, strategically building customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities and developing plans to expand across verticals/sectors.
  • Product knowledge, possess an understanding of the product and service offerings and effectively communicate the value to customers.

Experience Required:

To excel in the position it is recommended you are a subject matter expert, you will have significant experience of working to deliver ISP services to B2B Customers.

Other requirements include:

  • Experience winning new business within the SME market and running full sales cycles.
  • Experience overachieving sales targets.
  • Extensive experience working in collaborative teams across sales, technical, engineering, and operations.
  • Have at least 2 years field sales experience (managing diary and running full sales cycle).
  • The role will require a tenacity for lead generation, through to close of opportunity focusing on key sectors and strategic acquisition logos.
